Chemistry has always fascinated me.  From the marvels of colorful fireworks during the Fourth of July to the fizzing of baking soda when it encounters vinegar.  I hope to impart some of that fascination to my students as they learn about the chemistry going on all around them.

Newton's chemistry course this year is also available for undergraduate credit through Indiana University! The "lecture" part of the course is a 3-credit course and the "lab" part of the course is 2 credits. Any junior or senior with a 2.7 GPA or higher can apply to IU for concurrent high school and university credit. And at $25 a credit hour (for which our students only have to pay $5 per credit hour), it's a bargain!
