How to Pay For Meals:
Newton Local School use a computerized debit system for meal payment. https://www.payforit.net
The system allows you to pay in advance if you choose to do so. Students will still be able to pay cash on a daily basis. The system works with a touch pad that allows the student to enter their 4-digit personal identification number (PIN) to access their account. The PIN will be given to the student the first week of school. The PIN will stay the same throughout the remaining years your child is enrolled at Newton Local School. This system is very confidential. All students will be required to enter their PIN regardless of meal status or payment method, thus insuring your child’s privacy.
All students have an established debit account. You may make advanced payments to the account or we can accept cash payments on a daily basis. To make an advanced payment, elementary students will give money to their teachers in the morning, High School students can deposit their money during lunch period. To prevent fraudulent use of student accounts our register are equipped with a digital camera that has your child’s school picture already downloaded to it.
Money will only be deducted from an account when the student
uses the account to purchase meals and/or ala carte items.
Free and Reduced Meals: Free and reduced meals (breakfast and lunch) are provided to students whose families are eligible. If you believe your child is eligible for free or reduced meals, please contact the school at 937-676-2002.
