Advanced Problems in Science

Geared toward juniors and seniors interested in science and/or critical thinking, Advanced Problems in Science works with the methods of science, skepticism, scientific ethics, and critical thinking which are often barely touched upon during regular science classes.

The course utilizes technology as much as possible, having students write blogs, edit wikis, maintain group bookmarks, and other computer-related things.  Students will also be using electronic probes during some experiments as well as precision instruments like analytical balances and vernier calipers.  It is a project based course, so very little homework is assigned and there are no tests.  Sometimes students just need toDoscience in order to betterLearnscience.
