Kevin J Taylor Biography
Mr. Taylor graduated with his Bachelor of Music Education cum laude degree from Ashland University in 2005, and in 2007 earned his Master of Music degree while studying under Dr. Joseph Allison at Eastern Kentucky University. Performing groups under his instruction have received numerous awards and achievements across the state, including Superior ratings in marching and concert genres of classes C, B, A, & AA.
A 16-year educator, Mr. Taylor lives in Troy with his wife, Katie, beautiful daughter Sofia, and her fuzzy pug sister, Daisy. When he can find a spare minute, he enjoys camping, reading, biking, and golfing. Mr. Taylor is in his seventh year as the Director of Bands at Newton Local Schools. He serves as the teacher for all band ensembles within the Music Department.
