About Me
Mr. Kevin Taylor graduated with his Bachelor of Music Education degree from Ashland University in 2005, and in 2007 earned his Master of Music degree while studying under Dr. Joseph Allison at Eastern Kentucky University. Performing groups under his instruction have received numerous awards and achievements across the state, including Superior ratings in marching and concert genres of classes C, B, A, & AA. Most recently both concert (April 2024) and marching (November 2024) ensembles achieved Superior at O.M.E.A. State Events.
A 17-year educator, Mr. Taylor lives in Troy with his wife, Katie, and beautiful daughter Sofia. When he can find a spare minute, he enjoys camping, reading, dad-ding, biking, and golfing. Mr. Taylor serves as the teacher for all band ensembles within the Music Department.
