Fall Fair 2020
Friday October 2, 2020
Meal Infomation:
New this year for the fall fair meal we will be selling tickets and
having a drive through pick-up in front of the field house on
Friday October 2nd from 5-7pm (DUE TO COVID 19)
There will be meals available the day of but they will be limited,
so buy your tickets now.
Ticket Cost: $8.00
Dinner to be served
Pulled pork sandwich
Red potatoes
Green beans with ham
Creamy Coleslaw
Dessert item
Outlined below is the game plan for this year's fall fair.
Thursday October 1st
5-8 pm
Entry drop off (Field House)
*We will be asking anyone from the community with Fall Fair entries to drop off their
perspective entries the night before.
Friday October 2nd
7am - 10am
Entry drop off (Field House)
We would like this time frame to be reserved for elementary and high school students
for drop off.
8 am - 10 pm
(High school students that want to view projects, please only during this time frame)
10:30
Judging of fair projects.
10 am - 2:30 pm
Elementary Class rotations (Viewing animals, tractors and fair projects)
3:30- 7:00pm
The field house will be open for community members interested in viewing projects.
5 pm - 7 pm
Drive through/Carry out Pork Dinner
(We will be selling tickets for dinners this year starting today $8.00)
6pm
Newton Band Performance
Notable changes due to Covid 19.
No Booths
No Tractor pull
No Class Challenge
* Face masks will be required for entry into the field house.
I know this is not the way we wanted to host our 90th annual Newton Fall Fair, but
I know you will still support our students just as in years past.
