Newton Kindergarten teacher, Tiffany Wall, has been busy
expanding young minds by integrating activities into the classroom that
increase opportunities for students to use 21st Century Skills. Mrs. Wall does this by finding a balance
between the required paper/pencil tasks and open-ended activities in the
classroom. She teaches them ways to integrate Makerspace and Tinker Tray
activities into any classroom.
Mrs. Wall has been invited to share her real life classroom
experience at several national educational events including at the Ohio
Association for the Education of Young Children in Toldeo, the National
Association for the Education of Young Children in Atlanta and locally with
Northmont teachers and administrators. Additionally she is scheduled to present
two different sessions in February at the Winter 2018 Arts Integration and
STEAM Online Conference by Educationcloset.
