Our website layout will be changing some this year! With Mrs. Danielle Davis now our K-12 principal rather than Elementary principal, we will be redesigning the website to also combine our high school and elementary. Be sure to visit again to see our changes!
Before (and probably during) the change, however, content will still be updated. For example, the high school daily announcements are still available and will be updated each afternoon there is school.
AAA is offering Driver's Ed during Spring Break in the Board of Education Meeting Room here at Newton. Any students who are eligible and interested should print off and fill out the application for the AAA Driver's Ed training.
The 2011 Semester Exam Schedule is available on our website. Semester Exams will be held before Christmas Break, from December 13th through 16th. Students will soon be receiving the form needed for leaving school early/coming late during the exam period (available for grades 9-12 for official study hall periods at the start or end of the exam day).
In an effort to streamline all of the information at the Elementary, Junior High, and High School, Mrs. Davis has created a new Newton K-12 Facebook page to post updates for the entire K-12 community. We now have the link in the left-hand navigation bar as well as a Like button. The Facebook page is visible even if you do not have a Facebook account. The Newton High School Facebook fan page will not be updated now that this new page has been created, but you can still be a fan of Newton High School!
The 2010-2011 Yearbooks have arrived. The Class of 2011 may pick up their yearbook in Mrs. Anthony's Room H204 before or after school. Current students may pick up their yearbooks after school starting Tuesday, September 20, 2011 in Mrs. Anthony's room.
Are Newton graduates prepared for college? According to a report from ACT (the testing agency), they are! The ACT College Readiness Report details are available on our website.
